He maimai aroha - Kiingi Tūheitia
Māhuta ki te pae o Hinetangirau, o Hineroimata, o Hinenuitepō. Tangitangi ngā tama-āriki, hine-rīriki o Hautupua, kia au te moe e Koro e
The skies of Aotearoa weep tears of sorrow, as Tangata Whaikaha Māori mourn the passing of our majestic Kiingi Tūheitia, the shining sun of Te Ao Māori.
His departure leaves an aching void and chasm in all our hearts, and a silence that echoes through our souls.
Our thoughts are with the whānau, and all those who loved and revered our beloved Kiingi. Like a mighty tōtara, Kiingi Tūheitia stood tall, his wisdom, guidance, and compassion sheltering our people.
May his spirit soar on the wings of the albatross, may his heart rest in the warmth of the sun, and may his memory forever inspire us to reach for the heavens.
Haere ki te po e te Arikinui, haere ki te rangatiratanga o te Kiingitanga.
Farewell our beloved King, farewell to the sovereignty of the Nation.
